Established in 2006 by Andre Anderson and Kendell Keith, PDG is a professional community planning firm headquartered in Orlando, Florida. PDG has been successful in procuring both public and private contracts that cover a broad range of services including urban design, conceptual design analysis, New Urbanism analysis, master planning, comprehensive plans and plan amendments, development review, visioning, public participation, zoning and preliminary subdivision plans.
The principals of PDG have more than 40 years of community planning experience with the private sector as well as state and local governments. Recognized experts in the areas of Community Planning, Zoning and Property Entitlement, and Intergovernmental Coordination, their experience includes coordination and development of Concept Plans, Evaluation and Appraisal Reports (EAR) and Comprehensive Planning, Corridor Studies, and Smart Growth initiatives.

AndrÃ© brings more than 20 years of public and private sector experience to his role as president and managing partner of Planning Design Group. As Planning Administrator for Orange County, Florida, he worked with planners, landscape architects, attorneys, land developers, engineers, realtors, and other allied professionals on numerous projects of varying sizes and levels of complexity. These projects included intergovernmental coordination on annexation and de-annexation applications with various municipalities in Orange County; visioning, public participation, and urban design charrettes; comprehensive plan amendments; impact fee ordinance updates; and rezoning and land entitlement. One particularly complex project for which Andre was the Project Manger was the Innovation Way Sector Plan which involved the development of a long-range development framework strategy to connect the University of Central Florida and the Orlando International Airport and to encourage high-value/high-wage jobs.
Executive Vice President
With over 20 years experience as a planner in both the private and public sectors, Kendell has represented several clients in establishing development entitlements for a variety of projects throughout Central and North Florida. Kendell is a landscape architect registered in the State of Florida and the current Director of Design and Development for Planning Design Group.
The first Urban Design Chief for the Orange County Planning Division, Kendell pioneered the original Architectural Design standards for commercial development in Orange County, Florida. Among his assignments as a project manager for the County, he oversaw the Horizon West Study and the Lakeside Village Specific Area Plan, which became a model for future growth management in Orange County and received the Florida Planning and Zoning Associationsâ€™ 1995 Innovative Planning Award. Lakeside Village received the 1997 Florida Planning and Zoning Association's Outstanding Innovation Award and the American Institute of Architects Certificate of Appreciation at the Spotlight on Livable Communities Regional/Urban Design Committee 1998 Spring Forum.
